Welcome to my nightmare. I've been searching and waiting for other people to notice this insane situation for a few years now.

Every time I call a business, my (usually) simple and common request is not an option on their automated phone trees. The situation would be farcical if it weren't so impersonal, dehumanizing, and frustrating.

Try gethuman.com if you ever need to contact any business. They offer to contact uncontactable businesses on your behalf. No guarantees, but at least they offer some hope.

For the sake of human dignity, this issue desperately needs more attention than it's getting. Thanks for the write up.
