45,000 of 230,000 suicides each year are attributed to unemployment. We do nothing. If it were because of terrorism, I shudder to think about the lengths we would go to to try and stop it.
I came up with a theory a couple of weeks ago that seems to hold true: All suicide is murder.
And not by the person who committed suicide. Somehow, they calculated that your risk of death rises by 66% when you lose your job. Shitty supervisors have a higher rate of success than someone who is actively out to commit murder.
Psychologists studying the method of suicide found a connection between the method and the reasoning of the victim. Suicide by gun is an execution. Suicide by overdosing with pills is a mercy killing to escape pain.
In my haste and desperation, I tried to access government benefits. Now, I get texts and phone calls all day from vultures trying to sell me new car insurance. See what I mean when I say America is sick?
